"Where are we going Mummy?"

This special moment was captured on an early winter morning at Baslow Edge in the Peak District National Park. I had gotten up early to capture a sunrise but as the fog rolled in I decided to make a detour and see if I could capture these magnificent beasts. They were difficult to find in such strong fog but I persevered and eventually walking down a lane into the field one of the cows horns started to appear followed by its huge outline.
It was a magical misty morning, with the icing on the cake being three recently born calves.
Sadly these cows are no longer allowed to roam free on this moor due to Health and Safety reasons, sad times.
